Rainy day

Today is just blah... Its grey outside and I can see the drips from the rain coming off the roof... Havent been doing too much last few days... On saturday hubby , I and the kids went to walmart to get a rug cleaner... Rhi spilt something in her room that made it smell... So we cleaned it and then did the rug... I have wanted a rug cleaner for some time now... Sunday we headed out to the mall, I got my sketchers that I have been looking for and they were on sale... They are a cute dressy sneaker... We also got a new dvd player for the bedroom, the one we had was dying and bestbuy had there floor model up for sale, its an rca, 5 disk player, and its got surround sound, we got it for 89 dollars and a $20 gift card... Not bad I think... We went to target too I wanted to see if I could find this notebook I wanted , its more like a notepad but its a dual notebook... I like them for my design work... I do the drawing on one side and have crystal info on the other... I wanted to get 2 more but of course I find the perfect book and they dont have any in stock... The are made by real simple... Hopefully down the line I can find them somewhere... Looks like target is the only place that carries them though...

Emma had her first shots on monday... Rhi also got her measle shot too... Rhi did very good again, let them take her temp, check her ears, and her nose, I have the doc do it whenever we are there since she has that thing she can look right up there and so far so good nothing but boogies up there lol... Emma is little over 11 lbs and is 24 in long... She did good too, when she got her shots and started crying Rhi started crying again too... But it didnt last long... Rhi got a new little peoples toy for being so good... Doc asked me if I was going to stop loosing weight too... When I became pregnant i was about 196-198 lbs... With morning sickness I went down to 186 and my weight never went above 189 I think... I didnt gain any weight with this pregnancy lol... Well with breastfeeding, eating a bit better and not drinking any sugar drinks, i am still drinking diet soda and crystal light even though the gestationl diabeties is gone, I am down to 152 last time I checked... I have had to go out and buy some new jeans since most of mine dont fit now... I feel good... And everyone says I look good...

Well I cant think of anything eles even though I know there is more... I am going to go and doodle some goddess designs for hanging up... Hubby and I re-arranged the bedroom on sunday... I got this brillant idea and hubby said sure so after we got back from the mall we did that... I am very happy with the bedroom even though we arent done yet putting everything away... But its getting there... I got tired of cats jumping over my head to get to the window behind the bed... And it clears up the other window so more of a breeze comes in...

Lazy Sunday

I am just hanging out with the kids watching tv... We went out yesturday since my weather thing kept telling me about the bad weather coming our way... And sure enough woke up this morning and there was snow on the ground... And looking out the window right now I can see that it is snowing... Its supose to be a mix of rain, snow and ice... Just to be a pain in the ass... Its the middle of April and we are still getting snow... I am so sick of snow... I dont want heat waves but I would like nice comfortabel weather that I can wear nice clothes and shoes and not have to be bundled like an eskimo... I want to be able to take the kids outside and go for walks and not have to slep thru mud.... It was kinda nice yesturday hubby was saying if we dont get the bad weather and its nice out we were going to go to the park... Well its snowing so no park... I know I am whining... Bite me if ya dont like it... lol

So yesturday we did some shopping got some things we needed... We didnt get to all the places I wanted to go too, hubby had an Everquest (crack) event and needed to be home by 6:30... We had a late start since we had to get out taxes finished ... We went to h&r block to make it easier, living in ny and working in pa just so much paper work and confusing too... I had some things I wanted to look for at old navy but by the time we got done with sams club I wasnt in the mood for old navy even though I did have a 10 dollar gift card for being treated like crap... Dont let old navy tell you they dont honor online prices if you go thru the website you will find their policys but even if the sales people and managment tell you they dont honor online or reimburse you for store bought items that when you go home and find out online had it cheaper its bullshit... Which I found out after a two stores gave me a hard time... So if you ever go into and old navy and know its cheaper online have them call the online department or customer service and they will verify the price and honor it... At least that is what customer service told me when I emailed them and then they asked me to call them to discuss my shopping expericence...

Finished

Here is the skirt before and after... I made it from an old pair of jeans... It was fun and I stitched it all by hand... There is fabric in the back too... I started sewing it up yesturday and finished it this evening... I worked on it in between kids and household stuff...

Snowy thursday....

Our weather has been insane here... We have been having really nice weather I even wore open toed shoes yesturday and today it was cold and I woke up to snow on the ground... Insane, mother nature can't make up her mind it seems around here... I want the nice weather back....

Spent a good part of today working on a skirt... I took an old pair of jeans opened up the inner seam and played around with some fabric... I think I have it the way that I want it... I had to head to walmart to get some thread, I matched it to the thread that was used on the jeans all ready... So maybe after Rhianna goes to sleep I can start to stitch it up... I will be doing it by hand since ms. Rhianna messed around with my sewing machine and I cant get the tension right for some reason... I need to get my mom over here to see if she can get it right... I dont mind though, I like to sew by hand... Thats how I used to sew when I was little making barbie clothes...

I also picked up some new frames, I want to start putting family photo's together and start a wall for the family... So I got one collage frame and then I will work frames around that...

My mom had to have work done on the pipes here seems we had a hole in one of them and it was causing us to loose pressure and letting crap into the water... So for two days had brown water... I was so happy to be able to do dishes today, they have been piling up and tomorrow I finally can start doing laundry... I also want to figure out paint for my walls... We have been meaning to paint but since Rhianna "the budding artist" got a hold of a pen and taged the hallway and one kitchen wall we have to repaint now... I would like to do color but I am not sure what color to do... I was thinking of leaving the hall the off white color but the one kitchen wall that needs to be done I was thinking of doing that in a color... just not sure if it would look stupid? Oh well , I will have to think on it...

Time flys

I can't believe its thursday all ready... Where did the week go... ? I have a doctors appointment tomorrow I still don't feel right since having Emma... There are things that feel different and I am still having cramps and my back has been so out of wack that I have been relying on the pain killers to get thru the day and I dont want to live like this... I am just afraid to go to the chiropracter but maybe this time will be different since he will be able to do more with me since I am not pregnant? Last time every time I had an adjustment I was down for days recovering from being stretched and manipulated... Going to run for now will post more later if I can...

Sunny Sunday

The weather was nice today... We got a late start due to me just being lazy and sleeping in and then taking my time getting ready... We went to walmart for a few things... We got some table lamps to put in the living room, now i need new curtains but i havent found anything i like yet... We also go Rhi a new matress for her toddler bed and put the other matress back in the crib for Emma... I did find a curtain for emma's room that i liked it was clearanced... We then got some mcdonalds for on the way home but took the long way home... I love their iced coffee...

I bought the holiday on dvd yesturday, its a cute movie... I also got some new beads and i want to make something but i cant make up my mind what i want to make... I just have this urge to create and i dont know what to do... Its driving me nuts... lol

Hubby and I have been cleaning things out since the weather has been so nice... Spring cleaning lol... If its nice tomorrow i am going to try and work on the front porch... i think i saw rain in the forcast though... Its so muddy here, it sucks cause i would like to take Rhi out for walks but it would be a mess and with me also trying to hold emma and chase after Rhi i know i would wind up on my ass... Oh well going to run and see if i can either create something or go to bed... It is after 1am lol...

Playing around

Took Emma for a little walk today, over to my mom's... She wasnt home though... But it was nice to get out... Then 20 min later she came home and my nephew brought my mail over... He spent some time with emma... So all that snow we had is almost gone again... So this weekend i am going to try and clean up outside...

Took some time to play around with some beads... Love these goddess pendants... This is made with labradorite and garnet, two of my favorite stones to work with....

Nooooooooooooooooooooo

It's snowing... and not lightly either... I was so happy almost all the snow was gone and now we got more... And next week is supose to warm up again so we will have flood warnings again and this time could be bad because of all the stuff that melted earlier this week... I was so loving the nice weather... I have dresses and shoes that are itching to be worn and i cant cause of the crap on the ground...

Otherwise nothing major going on here... Been playing around with my sketch pads and drawing a lot... I ordered some new drawing markers too... I love micron markers, they come in all kinds of colors and different tip sizes... Was a little disappointed the maroon ones i wanted were out of stock and they dont back order where i got them from... Pearl paint... oh how i miss that store... I have only been to the small one on the island when i lived there but there is a huge one in the city i think its 2-3 floors of all kinds of art stuff...Its an artists dream store...

Not so good start....

This morning started out with pain.... Migraine pain... I havent had one of those in a few months... I tried the ibuprofen but it didnt work i had to take the pain killers i had... So i spent most of my day in bed and most of it sleeping i was just so exhausted from it... Yesturday we did get a chance to go out, didnt find half of what we were looking for but i found goodies... Target had nursing bra's on clearance so i got a new white one and two tank tops with the nursing part in it... They are so cool... Its nice to be able to take the bra off... I got some art pens from michaels for drawing... expensive but they last a long time... Got some more of the glow bracelets too... Rhianna loves them... Emma does not like to shop or go in the car... Rhi was totally diff, the car put her to sleep... it seems to wake emma up... Very hard to shop when your baby wont stop crying and nothing makes her happy... oiy...

I am hoping my other packages show up this week, i am waiting for these shoes i have wanted for sometime to get here ... Heres a pic of them arent they cute... There are a few other little things coming but i cant wait for these to get here... I have some new dresses that these would look so nice with...

Well going to run, going to check on a friends blog to see how little aidan is doing, he was doing really well as of yesturday... His parents were going to see him and update... He was born early but he is a little fighter, keep him in your prayers...

It's cold outside....

It's 2 degree's here right now and its almost 1pm, dont think its going to warm up that much today... I had the water running last night so at least i still have hot and cold water today... I am glad i put the little weather chanel thing on my pc i can keep track of stuff coming in... It helps...

Havent been up to too much... We didnt do anything saturday, we just hung around the house... Sunday we went out to the mall and stores around there... We joined the sams club there, i have never been in one of those just been in a bj's , we have a memebership there too... Figured we could join this one too since neither one is in the same place... I was surprised at all the stuff sam's had... Little bit of everything... Even clothes...

I've been doing some doodling... been working on this goddess design... Its coming along nice, its been in my head for sometime... Think i will use it if i ever get my stuff on ebay to sell... It will be part of my logo lol... Just trying to figure out how to make it into a graphic so i can put it on things... My scanner isnt working right so i cant scan it... Maybe will have to try and figure it out... been thinking of getting a tablet but i am not sure what one to get, this way i could draw on my pc but also if i draw something in pencil i could trace it and put it on the pc... Lots of thoughts just not sure what to do...
